Going Back to Vegas…
helloooo everyone!
Next month I’ll be heading back out to vegas again and honestly I’m REALLY excited about it haha.
Most of the reason for the trip is LVFC related stuff. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes right now… a lot of meetings, planning, coordination, venue discussions, and logistical things that need to happen in person… I can’t really say TOO much yet because most of it is still in development and i don’t wanna accidentally spoil things before they’re finalized or like be totally wrong and promise something that isn’t going to happen, but trust me dird says we’ve been working really hard on future stuff for the convention.
It’s honestly wild to me sometimes that LVFC is even real GAHHH! I get all ksljfksldjksj when I think about it too much lmao.
I’ve already said for YEARS i wanted a furry convention in Las Vegas. like, genuinely since I first joined the fandom. I used to dream about wanting an AC style event in Vegas, and now I’m helping work on it… sometimes that still doesn’t fully register in my brain lmao.
Vegas has changed so much over the years, but at the same time it still feels familiar to me. Every time I go back, it kinda resets my brain in a way. Ah yes… this place… the smell… the heat… the cactus I fell into once next to the dumpster when I was 12… good times… haha
I’m looking forward to seeing friends, checking out some old spots, eating food that’s probably terrible for me, driving around at night listening to music, and just soaking in the city again for a few days, but that’s not really the point of the trip. I said I wanted to help make the con better, that’s my focus, that’s what I am doing. No regrets!
Vegas will always be special to me. No matter where I end up living, I think part of me will always belong there.
I’ll probably share photos and little updates while I’m out there, so stay tuned I guess :P
anyway yeah. exciting times ahead haha, can’t wait to share them all with you!
